Zeke Meets Mommy’s Little Angel began as a 30-day filmmaking dare: two actors, two crew, one homemade monster head, and just enough caffeine to survive.
What starts with Zeke - a sarcastic drifter waking up bloodied in a gasoline-soaked motel bathroom - quickly spirals into something stranger. A woman with inky white eyes and a lighter in hand. A towering blue-furred creature with too many teeth and a grin that shouldn’t exist. And Zeke himself, somehow unfazed, narrating it all with booze-stained wit and Golden Girls references.
Equal parts horror, comedy, and DIY fever dream, the short blends practical creature effects, CGI integration, and a punk rock work ethic into a surreal grindhouse encounter. At its core, it’s less about defeating the monster and more about stumbling headfirst into one - and laughing in its face.
